Hademade Wookie Card

My little brother just got a job, and I wanted to make him a congratulations card he would actually like. He loves Stars Wars, but I don’t have any Stars Wars scrapbooking supplies. So I came up with a way to make a Wookie. I made a video to show how to make your very own wookie card for the Star Wars fan in your life.

Handmade Thank You Nest Card

One of my coworkers asked me to make her some Thank You cards today. I made this one for her and love it so much, I don’t want to give it away. To make this card, I started with an A2 kraft cardstock base. I cut the nest from Give Hoot at 2 1/2 inches. The base layer is brown recollection card stock, the top layer is brown bazzill texture card stock, and the eggs are blue pattern paper from K & Company Abrianna Specialty Paper Pad. I attached the nest with some pop dots. I wrapped some hemp around the card and then secured it with Studio G Polka Dot button. I used some glue dots to attach two blue buttons below the hemp. For sentiment, I stamped Thank You in embossing ink on Ribbon Tag, and embossed it with ebony embossing powder. The banner was attached with pop dots. For the finishing touches, I corner rounder the bottom right corner, added some dashed lines, and used glossy accents on the eggs.  Hope you like this card.
